Holy
Day Greetings from HomeWorship 101™
- “Count fifty days to the day after the
seventh Sabbath;
- then you shall offer a new grain offering
to the Lord.
- You shall bring from your dwellings two wave loaves…”
- - Leviticus 23:16-17
The
Biblically Holy Day of Pentecost, called in Hebrew, Shavuot, is this Sunday, May
27, 2012 (Lev.23:15-22). It
is a festive atmosphere because it is the day of new revelations from
YHWH! Log on http://www.homeworship101.com/holy_days_spring.htm
- "God has chosen you to salvation, through sanctification of
the Spirit."
- - 2 Thessalonians 2:13
In this years newsletter for the spring Holy Days
I talked about the Covenants YHWH made with humanity, and through those
Holy Days HE sanctified and justified us to join HIM in HIS Covenants.
Now on this Holy Day we learn our Covenant responsibilities.
YHWH eternal Kingdom is not a free-for-all; it is based on law
and order, and since ancient times this Holy Day celebrates YHWH’s
Universal Laws. These Laws
are not laws to appease some angry god; YHWH prepared these Laws to help
us, not just Jews or Christians, but a-l-l humanity.
The Angels and all the societies that make up YHWH’s Heavenly
Kingdom follow YHWH’s Laws, including YHWH HIMSELF.
YHWH’s Laws were first introduced to humanity through the
universal Covenants given to Adam and then again to Noah. It is a simple agreement, if we promise to honor YHWH the
CREATOR of all, and live a by HIS simple rules HE will protect us, teach
us, and grant us eternal life in HIS Kingdom (Col.1:5).

- “A
wise man [or women] will hear and increase learning,”
- - Proverbs
1:5
-
- The theme for this Holy Day:
- Watch your thoughts;
they become words.
- Watch your words; they
become actions.
- Watch your actions; they
become habits.
- Watch your habits; they
become character.
- Watch your character; it
becomes your destiny
Generally
I get a lot of criticism from the Christian world
for going, as they say, backwards and following the Biblical Holy Days.
So I ask them, “…don’t Christians observe Pentecost?”
That is a Holy Day listed in Leviticus ch.23, why are some Holy
Days important and some are not?”
All the Holy Days are for the Hebrews and gentiles, and they
are all important, if there is any more doubt then look to the Jerusalem
Temple ceremony for this day and learn.
Here, on this Holy Day,
lies the simple answer waved in front of you, but many do not see.
In
the theater of the Temple, the ceremony required was to have the high
priest
wave two loaves of bread over the altar as an offering to YHWH.
The offering of two loaves of bread is a product of craftsmanship
(different from a harvest or blood offering).
Unlike the previous Holy Days with symbols of unleavened bread,
these two loaves of bread are made with yeast - the symbol for sin.
With a skilled hand each loaf begins with the best ingredients,
it is then mixed, stirred, kneaded, raised, flattened, raised again, and
carefully baked to perfection. If
you think about it, it sounds a lot like the spiritual evolution of the
Hebrews and gentiles, being guided by the hand of our CREATOR.
Here on this Holy Day the Hebrews and the gentiles are
spiritually represented as two loaves of bread offered to YHWH.
- “I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall
go!
- I will guide you with My eye."
- - Psalm 32:8
~ The Commandments ~
- “Blessed are those who do His commandments,
- that they may have the right to the tree of life,
- and may enter through the gates into the city.
- But
outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral
- and murderers and idolaters,
- and whoever loves and practices a lie.”
- - Revelation 22:14-15
In the time of Noah, before there was any religion
there was the Rainbow Covenant, and from it Noah preached to a-l-l the
generations after the flood what is today called the 7 Noahic Laws or
Commandments. The
Orientals, the blacks, the whites, everyone with a belly button, all
learned the same 7 Commands which formed the successful building blocks
for the new world communities. Later
in time, YHWH chose Moses to give the 10 commands to his Hebrew church,
and Yahshua endorsed them for his Messianic church (Mat.5:17-18).
Sometimes Christians forget not everyone applies themselves to
the narrower path of the higher Covenants, one must remember that most
of the world lives under the Rainbow Covenant and the 7 Noahic Laws.

- “Great peace have those who love
Your law…”
- - Psalm 119:165
Some people call me legalistic, but they don’t get it.
The Ten Commandments are still in effect, and they give us
freedom. This is not a
modern concept, in ancient China, Confucius sought to transmit the
wisdom of the ancient sages. Opposite
of the Roman ways, Confucius and his disciples distrusted written laws.
He felt that a dusty statute book was too inflexible to handle
the infinite variety of human experience.
He chose to trust people, not laws, and taught a philosophy of
personal virtue, devotion to family, social justice, and to rely on
innate human goodness as the best guarantee of a civil society.
He was probably closer to the Biblical mark of the Noadic
Covenant teachings, than most give him credit for.
The reasoning for a moral personal and community philosophy is
simple, the more moral the society, the less community laws are needed
to govern or control them. In
others words, our FATHER's few simple Laws give us freedom from the
millions of laws in mankind's dusty statue books. America’s founding fathers were wise men who knew their
history and Bibles well, and they also understood this Divine truth of
promoting a moral community.
- “You fools--when will you be wise?”
- - Psalm 94:8
Unfortunately, many of today’s world’s leaders
- priests, politicians, corporate leaders, etc. - live with the Hellenist/Roman
attitude: There is one law for the rulers, and another law for the
ruled. This is not our
FATHER’s idea of an everlasting society.
The Faithful accept the Kingdom Laws because YHWH, and all HIS
interstellar societies, also lives by them.
- ~ The Greatest
Commandment – the Golden Rule ~
-
- “Teach your children the Golden Rule
- and the world will thank
you.”
This Holy Day celebrates YHWH’s Laws and at the
very least, this Holy Day should be universally know as “the
Golden Rule Day” because the Golden Rule sums up all of our
CREATOR’s Laws. Much
has been written regarding the Law, but I specialize in the short
version. The bottom-line
Law governing all interstellar relations with angels, humans, or
otherwise, is the Golden Rule. It
is universal, and putting it into practice is the height of spiritual
maturity. Satan has
engineered many religious walls and divisions among the Faithful, but
a-l-l humanity has our CREATOR and the Golden Rule in common - even
those who do not believe. I
have listed them all on my website, with a short history, and some
notable quotes. Log on:

~ The Promised Helper ~
- “When the Day of Pentecost had fully
come,
- they were all with one accord in one
place.”
- - Acts 2:1
After Passover in the time of the Apostles, this day was known as the day that the Holy
Spirit (Hebrew: the Ruach HaKodesh) of YHWH, was sent by Yahshua-Jesus
to the true Believers, beginning His mystical union with the
Hebrew-Gentile Messianic Church (Act.ch.2).
It is interesting to note that the verse says, “they were
all with one accord,” meaning they all believed and understood the
same Gospel teachings of Yahshua. Sadly,
today, Yahshua’s church is very fragmented.
The Ruach HaKodesh (the Holy Spirit) is a Covenant promise (Jer.31:31-35)
to the Faithful, made available by the success of the suffering
Messiah over evil. The
Holy Spirit lives within the bodies of the Believers of both men and
women. It is our helper,
our guiding intuition, and our strength.
The day the Ruach HaKodesh was originally given was a wonderful
early-summer morning. It
was around 9 am. The
Faithful were bright and cheerful, and of one accord.
They had just heard the scriptural lesson from the Prophet
Ezekiel 1:4, "Then I looked, and behold, a whirlwind was coming
out of the north, a great cloud with raging fire engulfing itself; and
brightness was all around it and radiating out of its midst like the
color of amber, out of the midst of the fire."
And then, just a short while later,
as they were talking among themselves, a miracle happened!
"Suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing
mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one
sat upon each of them,…" Act.2:2-3.
Wow! Our FATHER has
impeccable timing! Read
through Acts ch 2, it was a wonderful stunning miracle, and it got
everybody’s attention!
The good news is that GOD allows U-Turns!
In the ancient Old Testament times, the Commandments were written
in hard stone and the penalty for sin is death.
Now, the Ruach HaKodesh, the Holy Spirit, writes it on our warm
hearts. The Ruach HaKodesh
/ the Holy Sprit introduces humanity to the concept of “grace.”
which is the advanced trait of mercy.
The Gospel lesson of Grace is: Don't judge and condemn too
quickly. If some have a
change of heart, and wants to change their ways, we should learn to
forgive and show mercy, and help them back on the righteous path.
This Holy Day also marks the beginning of the Age of Grace, meaning
this is an age to promote and learn the advanced trait of mercy. Now this is an age of forgiveness, and for learning to become
a better person, and a better community.
Individuals will make mistakes (will sin) and will have learn a
hard lesson for it, but in the end, if we learn our spiritual lessons
well, one will be a better person for it – true to the symbolism of
the YHWH’s spiritual bread offered at the Temple, HIS bread (HIS
Faithful) is being kneaded, shaped, and baked to perfection.

Also
on this day, communication with the Heavenly Powers just became easier.
YHWH, via the Holy
Spirit, now empowers the Believer with HIS Spiritual
Powers-Tools. In Daniel
ch.10, the Archangel Gabriel wanted to visit Daniel to relay a message
from YHWH, but he was prevented from that task by Satan’s dark angels.
He had to fight the dark forces for 21 days, and only succeeded
when the Archangel Michael came to help.
Here we get a hint, that at times, it wasn’t always easy for
the righteous powers to communicate to the Faithful on earth, but now
that has all changed. Prayer,
baptism, blessing, anointing, laying on of hands, are all ways to
empower the Believer and to communicate with the Heavenly Powers.
The Spiritual Power-Tools are important defensive tools because
the Faithful are in the middle of a raging spiritual war, unfortunately
most churches do not teach the laity how to use them.
Satan knows, “to
lead an untrained people to war is to throw them away,” and he
has been busy corrupting or hiding YHWH’s Knowledge.
A
major spiritual point often missed by the controlling religionists
that is often not explained is the symbolism of Acts ch.2.
In the chapter, the Holy Spirit came directly to the Faithful, it
wasn’t first sent to the Apostles and then distributed by them, the
Holy Spirit was sent directly from Heaven to the Faithful.
Based on this example, the Protestant Reformation leaders
believed YHWH directly empowers the people and became one of the main
tenets to break the yoke of the Roman Catholics version of Nicolaitanism
(Rev.2:6). The doctrine of
Nicolaitanism has its roots in paganism where you paid a priest to send
your prayers to the gods. It
always puts a priest, (a pope, a rabbi, or some mere mortal), between
you and GOD – and YHWH/GOD hates that because it leads to corruption. Yahshua also chastised many rabbis of His time for having the
same Nicolaitan attitude (Mat.23:1-23).
The doctrine of “Spiritual
Covering” preached by some Protestants churches is much the same.
The pitch is, once you join their church then you are spiritually
covered by the priest or elders on down to the members, supposedly
protecting the person from evil, and if you leave their church you will
loose your spiritual protection and be dammed to hell
– oy vey, the mishegoss of religion, this has nothing to do
with the Bible but everything to do with control.
~ Our Teacher – Our Affliction ~
- YHWH
our CREATOR is willing
to instruct us (Ps.32.8).
- Let us
be early and often at HIS throne of grace, praying,
as the Psalmist did:
-
- "Show
me Your ways, O LORD, teach
me Your paths;
- guide
me in
Your truth and teach me--for
you are God my Savior,
- and my hope is in you all day long."
- -
Psalm 25:4-5
-
- "I am the Lord your God,
- who teaches you what is good for you
- and leads you along the paths you should follow."
- - Isaiah 48:17
If you don’t live it, don’t teach it!
YHWH lives by example
and follows HIS own Laws, and HE expects us to do the same.
YHWH is not a “gotcha” kind of GOD,
(looking to find faults in people, to keep them out of HIS
Kingdom), but one who loves, forgives, and teaches all humanity, even
the lowly most wretched person has value.
YHWH seeks to teach us our Covenant responsibilities that we all
should learn so that we may join HIM in HIS
Kingdom.
YHWH’s Messiah Yahshua was YHWH’s teacher in
the flesh. Teaching,
not browbeating preaching, or hi-brow lecturing, but teaching was
crucial in Yahshua’s ministry. He
did not take an opinion poll and then tell the people what was popular.
He taught the ways of His FATHER’s
Kingdom - like it or not! His
Kingdom message was captivating and inspirational.
He taught the higher force of the spirit is to take the place of
the earthly forces of the flesh. He
knows that the people will come to understanding of the higher
spiritual order when the truths of the Scriptures are taught properly.
Yahshua was the teacher of teachers, and He
trained His twelve Disciples to go forth and teach.
When people came to hear Him they filled the hillsides, and
Yahshua did not stand above the audience and speak down to them.
In one of His most electrifying discourses, His famous “Sermon
on the Mount,” He stood at the bottom (beneath them) and spoke up to
the audience with force and clarity. That famous discourse recorded in Matthew ch.5-7, has been
called by some Biblical scholars “the Constitution of the Kingdom of GOD.”
The Pharisees, the Jewish religious of the day, were
experts at using a lot of words to say very little. But Yahshua taught His Kingdom lessons in simple terms: Love
and kindness, replaces hate and bitterness.
He taught that our FATHER is love, and that our FATHER
is also infinite intelligence; therefore, developing YHWH’s
everlasting spiritual wisdom is the perfect blending of intelligence and
love.
His Gospel was practical, and perfectly expresses YHWH’s simple and inescapable
Code of Life. For those who
would follow, He promised: “His yoke is light and His burden is
easy.”
- Most of the great truths of God have to be learned through trials!
- They must be burned into us with the hot iron of affliction,
- otherwise we shall not truly receive them.
- - Charles Spurgeon
"Before
I was afflicted I went astray--but now I obey Your Word." -
Psalm 119:67
"It
was good for me to be afflicted--so that I might learn Your
decrees." -
Psalm 119:71
"I
know, O Lord, that Your laws are righteous--and in faithfulness You have
afflicted me." -
Psalm 119:75
"God
disciplines us for our good--that we may share in His holiness!"
-
Hebrews 12:10
- Definition: af·flict
tr.v. af·flict·ed,
af·flict·ing, af·flicts
- To inflict grievous physical or
mental suffering on.
“To inflict grievous physical or mental
suffering,” it sounds pretty serious.
Think about it for a moment, is it YHWH who afflicts us, or do we
do it to ourselves when we do not follow HIS guidance?
Have you ever said words in anger to a friend or
loved one that you wish you could take back?
Have you ever lost your patience and had an angry violent
outburst against a friend or loved one, and then regret what you had
done? The affliction is
living with the torment of guilt after the fact because you know you
hurt someone, either physically or emotionally.
Often times we do things and do not think of the ramifications of
our sinful actions. Has
your lie hurt someone? Has
your stealing hurt someone? Has
your cheating hurt someone, like maybe your wife?
All these sinful actions have grievous consequences, which causes
the guilt and hardship that we suffer with.
Many times our actions do not hurt someone else
but we hurt ourselves. For
example, YHWH gave us food and dietary laws that we should follow.
When we abandon YHWH’s Dietary Laws and overeat, or eat the
wrong foods, or drink too much hard liquor it causes us many health
problems such a diabetes, heart and liver disease, etc. then will you
learn the meaning of physical suffering the hard way.
YHWH is our CREATOR and HE knows what is best, we really should
listen and be thankful that HE takes the time to help us.
~ Holy Living ~
“You Go Your Way,
I’ll go YHWH!”
- The Bible clearly states:
- "You
ought to live holy and godly lives." -
2 Peter 3:11
- .
- "But now you must also put
away all the following:
- anger, wrath, malice, slander, and filthy
language."
-
Colossians 3:8
-
- "Be an example to all believers in what
you
- teach, in the way you live,
- in your love, your faith, and your purity." - 1 Timothy 4:12
-
- “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God,
- that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable
to God,
- which is your reasonable service.”
- - Romans 12:1
The best answer to today’s loss of civility is, “you go your
way, I’ll go YAHWEH” (just like Noah and Abraham did).
Scriptures call the Faithful to YHWH “priests” and we should
learn to live Holy lives (Rom.12:1; Eph.1:4; Tit.1:8; 1Pet.2:9; Rev.1:6,
20:6, and many more), but what does that mean?
What we generally call a holy man, paying someone, oops I mean,
donating money to someone, to stay in a sanctuary separate from the
community so that this person may remain holy, and then seek this person
out for ones spiritual needs, is mostly a pagan custom – it is not
YHWH’s idea of HIS priesthood.
Our Holy Spirit is our strength and helper, but help us in doing
what? The
answer is to help us live GODLY life.
If you listen to your guiding intuition and learn to live a
righteous life your Holy Sprit will grow.
If you ignore it and live by being hardhearted, malicious, and
taking advantage of your fellow man, then your Holy Spirit will wither
and die – then come Judgment
Day you will have no spirit to revive for eternal life and then you
will only have eternal death.
We have one CREATOR with one vision!
Some will argue that YHWH’s Law has been suspended in this Age
of Grace, but it's a no-brainer, our FATHER's Kingdom is based on law
and order. Even the angels
live by the Law. It’s the
rabbinic laws (man designed laws) that Yahshua criticized, but regarding
His FATHER’s Laws He clearly stated, He didn't come to break the Law
(Mat.5:17). If anything, He
raised the stakes - evil thoughts now constitute sin.
The Gospel message is: Don't even think about it! (Mat.5:8). A letter from the second century puts living under YHWH’S
Law beautifully, log on: http://www.homeworship101.com/wp_early_christians.htm
- "He who walks with wise men shall be wise;
- but a companion of fools shall be destroyed!"
- - Proverbs 13:20
-
- Forsake foolishness and live, and go in the way of understanding.
- - Proverbs 9:6
-
- Take
heed of the company you keep!
- Beware
of unnecessary familiarity with the ungodly.
YHWH wants all HIS faithful to live Holy lives on a day-to-day basis
while interacting with our community, friends and family.
To project righteousness in our work, and play, it means to live
honestly, to work honestly, etc, with one caveat, beware and be aware of
evil. The Book of Judges is
a good example, YHWH called people from the community both men and women
to rise up and preach YHWH’s truths to the community when they drifted
off the Path. The Apostle
Peter tells “…but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy
in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am
holy,” 1Peter1:16. It is easy enough to understand, and easy enough to read it
in Scriptures – but there is still much debate on the topic.
Sadly, many people would rather make an icon and worship it
instead of living a holy life. Oy vey, the mishegoss of religion.
See link: Concept of Holiness, http://www.barna.org/FlexPage.aspx?Page=BarnaUpdate&BarnaUpdateID=219
~ Closing Comment ~
- “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true,
- whatever things are noble, whatever things are just,
- whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely,
- whatever things are of good report,
- if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy;
- meditate on these things.”
- - Phil 4:8
It will be a long summer growing season under this Age of Grace
– stay on the righteous path. The
faithful are always longing for the coming of the Messiah to usher in
the Kingdom of peace, but this is a unique Age because the Faithful
believe without seeing YHWH or Yahshua, and it remains open to collect
as many Believers as possible. "The
Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but
is long suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that
all should come to repentance," 2Pet.3:9.
